Reading Vivian Maier

Describe It:
Children Having Fun On A Hot Summer Day Playing By A Fire Hydrant
Relate It:
This Photo reminds me of myself when I was a child I used to play in a water sprinkler with all the neighborhood kids on my block. I recognize that there is all different ages coming to play with each other on a hot day.
Analyze It:
The children make the picture look crowded. The most important part of this photo is the water that is coming out of the fire hydrant, thats the key element of this photo because that is the reason why all the kids in the neighborhood is coming outside to play.
Interpret It:
I would title this photo "Children at Play" because there is children at playing in the street. The sounds I feel that I would hear if this photo came to life would be children laughing, water splashing , kids feet hitting the pavement while they are walking on the walking on the wet sidewalk.

Evaluate It:
The person who made this photo did a outstanding job, they captured the life of children at their best which is having fun.I would frame this if I owned this
"A Fathers Job Is Never Done"
"This Portrays Classism "
